In fall 2018, Zeiders American Dream Theater (known to locals as “The Z”), recruited RCG to publicize its grand opening and inaugural Proteus Festival, a three-day celebration of music, arts and film in early October 2018.

We did just that, creating a media blitz that included everything from print, like this cover of “pulse” (the entertainment section of The Virginian-Pilot), to TV, radio and social media exposure.

We garnered media coverage from the following outlets. In total, the three local stations CBS, NBC and ABC mentioned the Zeiders grand opening 32 times between September 18 and October 9, 2018.

The exposure led to a packed house for the grand opening, which provided momentum to launch the creative and theatrical hub in the city’s Town Center district.

The Virginia Dental Association (VDA) and its foundation had a big week of statewide press coverage February 23-27.

Any website, no matter when it was launched, must have new content on a regular basis. Your audience needs a reason to visit your site, and helpful, creative articles are the smartest way to bring people through the door week after week. In addition, Google has altered its search algorithm to boost sites with the most relevant, insightful information. That’s why “content marketing,” as it’s called, matters more than ever.

Every blog post or article we write starts with the same question: what’s the most essential information we can provide?

• What concerns people about your business? What don’t they understand?
• What keeps someone from becoming a customer?
• How can we answer someone’s question in a way that’s relevant and meaningful?

At RCG, we practice what we preach. Take a look at some of our recent blog posts and the consider this: our efforts blogging on a weekly basis — and filling our site with meaningful content — have made us a top search result for “public relations virginia“.

It’s sobering to see a document with the words “Last Will and Testament” and my full legal name beneath them.

As the mother of two 20-something children, I know I need one, but I can’t help but imagine myself as a murder victim in an Agatha Christie mystery. (Make that “True Detective” episode for anyone not in my age cohort.)

A public relations disaster in a public restroom: a soap dispenser with no soap, a dirty countertop or worst of all, an empty toilet paper roll.

We shudder at the thought.

But not all public bathrooms are doing it wrong! There are plenty of people who take their facilities above and beyond in cleanliness and design to offer patrons a positive experience. That’s why RCG created the Best Restroom Contest for our client, Cintas, and its hygiene division.
