Who and What? Westminster-Canterbury (WC) on Chesapeake Bay will host a day of information and activities all about the brain, as they invite residents and guests for the first ever Brain Fitness Day, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Paul Nussbaum, a clinical neuropsychologist and founder of the “Brain Health Center.” From “brain foods,” to activities like tai chi, yoga and ping pong, the day will bring awareness to the issue of brain health, touch on issues like dementia and Alzheimer’s and teach adults of all ages what they can do now to keep their brains healthy and active. WC Brain Fitness Director Scott Sautter will also be on hand to answer questions on how to “cross train your brain.” The event is part of WC’s “Wellness for Life” program series.
When and Where? Tuesday, June 23rd Activities begin at 1:30 pm, with presentation from Dr. Nussbaum at 2:00 p.m.

About Dr. Paul Nussbaum: Doctor Nussbaum is a board-certified clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. Having earned Phi-Beta Kappa and his Doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona in 1991, Dr. Nussbaum completed his internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is an adjunct Professor in Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is the Founder and President of Brain Health Center, Inc. that integrates critical aspects of wellness with clinical approaches to provide a holistic approach to overall wellness and brain health.
