TowneBank to Open Unique Coastal Style Banking Office in Southern Shores on October 7, 2013

Southern Shores, NC – TowneBank is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest and most unique banking office, located at 2 Juniper Trail, in Southern Shores. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, October 7 at 9 a.m.

This 10,000 square foot, cottage-style banking office will offer a full array of financial services in a setting that reflects a warm and welcoming coastal lifestyle. The upscale island motif features a spacious porch with rocking chairs, large saltwater aquariums, and artwork with scenes from local landmarks. The reception area welcomes guests to stay and visit for a while, with a coffee bar and wireless Internet. Behind the teller line, an 80-inch television will stream live video from webcams set up throughout the beachfront community.

In the TowneBank tradition, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will include special check presentations to a number of local charities.  Additionally Danny Newbern, winner of TowneBank’s “Guess the Grand Opening Date” contest will be awarded the $5,000 prize of which $2,500 is designated as a charitable donation to Relay for Life. “Supporting our community is a very important part of our values at TowneBank,” says Taylor Sugg, TowneBank of Currituck President.  “We are excited to open the doors at our new Southern Shores office, and look forward to continuing our partnership with local families, businesses, and non-profit organizations.”
