TOWNEBANK TO OPEN NEW GHENT BANKING CENTER

Norfolk, Va. – TowneBank is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newest banking center at the corner of Colley Avenue and Westover Avenue in the Ghent area of Norfolk. An official grand opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 9:00 a.m.

This 3,638 square-foot banking center, located at 1006 Colley Avenue, will offer a wide array of financial services for individuals, businesses and community organizations. The building was designed to reflect elements of Norfolk’s heritage, and this chic new office include a lounge with charging stations, a large video wall with local event information, free Starbucks coffee, a doggie water fountain, drive-in banking and a Towne24 ATM.

TowneBank Chairman and CEO, Bob Aston; TowneBank Norfolk President, John Matson; and Ghent Branch Manager, Cameron Agricola, will participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with other bank and local dignitaries. In the bank’s grand opening tradition, charitable donations will be presented to two local organizations: 31Heroes, a Norfolk-based nonprofit that supports the military and families of fallen soldiers, and Blair Middle School, where Towne bankers and community volunteers are also running in the school’s One Mile Fun Run on May 15.
