So we were more than pleasantly surprised when Sports Illustrated came through for us and our youngest client, 15-year-old Yorktown race car driver Macy Causey.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RICHMOND – The Virginia Dental Association (VDA) applauds the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) that doctors apply a fluoride varnish on the teeth of children ages six months to five years. The AAP contends, and the VDA agrees, that the varnish can help reduce cavities, the top chronic disease affecting young children.

Joel began Rubin Communications in 1991 after a 15-year broadcasting career. His connections to local reporters and editors, as well as government and business leaders, made for a natural transition into a career in public relations.

It’s been nearly 25 years and many (many!) more clients since the beginning of Rubin Communications. To have a little fun with this week’s blog, we took a trip down memory lane and compiled an alphabetical listing of some our past and current clients. Rubin Communications is proud to work with Wheelabrator Portsmouth, a waste-to-energy facility that provides steam to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and disposes of solid waste in a way that is environmentally safe and decreases reliance on fossil fuels such as coal and oil.
