FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Norfolk, Va. – All you can eat seafood, one-on-one conversations with candidates for statewide and local office and the opportunity to support local children’s charities like Hope House, Ronald McDonald and CHKD. They will all be on the menu Thursday October 10 when the Kiwanis Club of Norfolk, in partnership with Old Point National Bank, hosts the 21st Annual Kiwanis Harbor and Seafood Feast from 4:30-7:30 pm at Town point Park in Norfolk.
Since 1993, the Kiwanis Club has raised more than $1-million for nonprofits across Hampton Roads. Tickets are on sale now for the 2013 event, which will once again feature crab cakes, scallops, oysters, fish, chicken and the famous Harbor Party Clam Chowder — all prepared by members of the Virginia Seafood Council. Beer, wine and soda are also available within the single ticket price.
In addition there will be a silent auction with dozens of valuable items as well as musical entertainment and brief presentations by candidates in attendance.
Tickets are $40 in advance $45 at the gate. Guests can purchase them at www.harborparty.org or by calling 757-456-5212.
