Va. Beach, Va. – Drink the District is back with its signature “Red, White & Brew” beer and wine festival, featuring American brews and vino from across the USA. Having outgrown the previous location, the event’s new venue will be the Virginia Beach Sportsplex (2181 Landstown Road, Va. Beach).

The July 16 event includes two sessions: an afternoon session from 1 – 4 p.m. followed by an evening session from 6 – 9 p.m. So whether you prefer daytime fun or socialization under the stars, take your pick.

Beer and wine, you say? Yes. Barley lovers and winos will come together for one big party with more than 100 beers and wines available for sampling.

And the Americana fun won’t stop there. The one and only DJ Julian Rivera will provide the perfect soundtrack for the sessions, and local favorite Cheap Thrills will also perform. Other entertainment includes a pie eating contest, an always-exciting best-dressed competition and classic yard games. And, when you work up an appetite, the area’s best food trucks will be on site with food for purchase.

Tickets start at just $25, but prices will increase to $45 as the event approaches… so buy them early!
