In celebration of “The Month of the Military Child,” the Peninsula Town Center (PTC) and the Hampton Military Affairs Committee (MAC) will host a “Celebration of the Military Child” event on Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at PTC’s Town Square. PTC is located near Mercury Boulevard and I-64 in Hampton, and its Town Square is located behind Barnes & Noble.

This new event will include an opening ceremony featuring the Heritage of America Brass Quintet from Langley Air Force Base, as well as exclusive military discounts and resources. Children’s activities will include a “bounce-house,” games in a carnival midway, crafts, face painting and more.

Event to Feature Hurrah Players and Roc Solid Kids in

Live Performance of Peter Pan at Chrysler Hall

            Va. Beach, Va. – Roc Solid Foundation (RSF) presents A Night For the Fight, an annual gala that will be held for the first time on May 4^th at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk. Doors open at 6 p.m. This year’s event will feature a live performance of Peter Pan by the Hurrah Players, with special appearances by some of the RSF “Play It Forward” kids/cancer survivors.

PENINSULA TOWN CENTER TO HOST SUNDAY FARMERS MARKET STARTING MAY 5th 

Hampton, Va. – Peninsula Town Center will be hosting the only Sunday farmers market on the peninsula, kicking off May 5^th and open every week from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. through October. The market will be located in Town Square, giving the Hampton Roads community a new spot for locally grown, fresh produce and other products.

Town Center at Peninsula Town Center to ‘Light It Up Blue’

in Support of World Autism Awareness Day

Hampton, Va. – Peninsula Town Center (PTC) will recognize World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 by participating in “Light It Up Blue,” a unique global initiative that kicks-off Autism Awareness Month. The center will join many iconic landmarks, hotels, sporting venues, concert halls, museums, bridges and retail stores across the world by illuminating Town Square at sundown that evening.

DockDogs is one of America’s fastest growing sports featuring jumping, soaring and retrieving dogs, guided by owners and trainers to leap into the pool to the end of the ramp. More than 8,000 people are expected for the Extravaganza over the course of the weekend. Admission is free for all spectators.
