Virginia Beach, VA – Care-A-Lot Charitable Foundation will host its first Fall Fur Adoption event geared to finding “Forever Homes” for pets across Hampton Roads. The free event will feature local rescue groups matching pets with each family, a Kids’ Zone with crafts and games, more than 15 local crafters with handmade goods, vendors, food trucks and more.
In addition, the Norfolk International Airport Police Department will demonstrate the skills of their K-9 division.
“In 2016, 11,500 animals in Hampton Roads never found homes,” says Bobby Clarke, owner of Care-A-Lot Pet Supply. “With this event, we will give families across the region an opportunity to learn more about the adoption process and make a difference in the lives of dogs and cats.”
The company has established the Care-A-Lot Charitable Foundation, a 501(C)3 organization, whose mission is to meet the needs of pets in our community. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to local rescue groups and SPCAs to maintain a proper quality of life while the animal wait for loving owners.
When: Saturday, October 14th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM
Where: Care-A-Lot Pet Supply (1617 Diamond Springs Road, Virginia Beach, VA)
