April 11, 2018 (Norfolk, Va.) – Nearly 2,200 seniors from the 30 local public high schools will pack the Ted Constant Convocation Center for the third annual College Commitment Day on April 24, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

College Commitment Day is a celebration for high school seniors to commemorate college acceptance. Shaggy from Z104’s Morning Zoo will emcee the high energy, one-hour long program on the arena floor.

Students, some of whom will be surprised with college scholarships, will share their excitement about this important step in their future on social media using #IGotIn2018. Parents, high school and college faculty, local superintendents, donors, sponsors and community leaders will also be in attendance.

Now in its 30th year, ACCESS College Foundation has helped more than 60,000 students go to college by guiding families in South Hampton Roads and Northampton County through the admission and financial aid processes.
