We Let the Employees Tell Their Story in Verse

Wall Einhorn and Chernitzer (WEC) is well known in Virginia as one of the “best places to work.”

Both Inside Business and Virginia Business magazines have honored the Norfolk accounting firm many times.

For this year’s contest, WEC, for whom we have provided a host of creative public relations services, asked us to produce a video describing why it is such a fine employer.

RCG President Joel Rubin suggested putting the reasons into a poem and have the employees each read a line. Joel quickly knocked out a script. A couple days later, videographer Bobby Cullipher, WEC marketing coordinator Chelsea Moody and Joel were roaming the floor at 150 West Main, grabbing staffers to recite their verses. Even the shy ones had fun.

Because it was a pretty simple edit, Bobby completed it that night. Take a look.

WEC partner Marty Einhorn is thrilled with the finished product.

“We were faced with a tight deadline to enter the video. And to our complete surprise Rubin Communications Group delivered the fully edited and produced finished product within 24 hours of taping!  We held a special firm wide meeting that same day to showcase the video, and our folks were blown away.  We are hopeful the attendees at the Virginia Business Best Places to Work luncheon in Williamsburg will have a similar reaction.”

Do you want to showcase your company as a great place to work, either for competitions or as a website recruitment tool? Talk to us about a short video (the WEC one was 90 seconds). The price is surprisingly affordable; and as WEC can attest, we “over deliver” every time.
