Our Public Relations “Lunch & Learns” are Back!

You called, emailed and asked us at events: is the “Lunch & Learn” series coming back?

You bet!

We’re excited to launch the second installment of our popular educational program. This past fall, we had over 60 people attend the lunchtime sessions. Once again, we’ll teach the Hampton Roads business community important public relations skills you can apply at your own companies.

Over the spring and summer, we will stage four “Lunch and Learns” on key topics. As before, we will hold each session from 12-1 pm at our office in Virginia Beach — 4542 Bonney Road, Suite B in the Dragas office complex.

Mark your calendar, and if you know you can make a particular session, RSVP NOW. Spots go fast!

Thursday, May 7 — SEO for Non-Techie People

How can you infuse your website with the best search engine optimization (SEO) practices — even if you don’t understand what “SEO” is all about? The RCG team — with the help of our best web development partners — will break down the term and give you practical ways to boost the visibility of your website. No website coding skills necessary, we promise.

Thursday, June 4 — Writing for E-newsletters

How do you write a e-newsletter people open at a high rate? What makes one “clickable” and interesting? RCG Vice President Danny Rubin will discuss the subtle yet important strategies that separate great e-newsletters from ones that remain buried in an inbox forever.

Thursday, July 9 — How to Communicate with Designers

What questions should you ask designers so they deliver the product you want? What’s the best way to communicate throughout the design process? Let RCG Creative Director Jessica Bensten provide all the do’s and don’ts of design projects.

Thursday, August 6 — Taking Memorable Pictures

When you’re the one in charge of photos for the “big” company event, you’ll want to make sure the final product is perfect. At our last “Lunch and Learn,” we’ll teach photo composition and how to use proper lighting to make every pic a winner.

RSVP today, and we hope to see you soon!
